Goodnight dark moonlight fallen asleep against the sun
Was I dreaming up pretend
Scared to love you
Scared to not.
Stuck in a wagon made of steel
Clouds in the sky pass over sunny delights spotted in daydream
Pulled back emotions to pop it’s lid off a swarm of dandy lion pollen blowing wishes upon your doorstep
Tattooed a grip on my heart never to be spoken
Lost to mysterious Cupid cleaning the grit off the magnifying glass, amplifying terror.
Waxing and waning in between cries of tomorrow’s summer days
Smiling with me as I witness the tear along fate’s long feathers.
