Dazed and confused stay in line

No answers but money in your pocket

mind the gap if you loose your place

Keep your mouth shut be lucky

happy camper eating canned baked beans

throw a hotdog on the grill and scrape off the black

No bun, too many carbs

Single file and keep it private

One drop in the bucket money bags

Find center to make it ok

a pole in the living room

not in the breakfast club

so tight you can bounce a quarter

tight cheeks and pearly whites

digging for diamonds

coal and frack in frack

my favorite x-men

and a sexy woman

to balance it all out.

Forever in your Arms

The past in the breeze

washed away and worth it

Feeling forever in your arms

The touch embrace captures into surrender to your palms

Ecstasy with a flitter of eye pressing lips to cheeks love glowing

Emerging growth pains its seedlings path to bloom

The stars put an asteroid between the sun and the moon

Leaving the shine and twinkle to move through space linking

The Abyss

Pouring my insides out into your parched mountain brick

Flooded by searing slag splashing towards a wall made of steal

My finger dips lightly into the pool of the cool stream

leading to nowhere in the divots of the mind

Projecting ghosts and adorned with side smiles and bloodshot eyes

Expunging dreams left on the wrong side of the street

met with the rift of disappointment and dis-membership

Pieces of you fractured and integrated

back to the abyss entombed in obsidian monuments

left to an island unto itself

Butterfly Thoughtz

IMG_1015Hello inner child have you talked to me today.  What automatic moves directs these grown up feet.  One for my mother and one for my father.

Can you appreciate Paris nights and Hawaiian trees that bricks your path.

Have you a silken handkerchief to say goodbye to Amen and Lbud with angel wings to watch down the aisle.

Can you laugh and reminisce with me over mr not there and sir cares a not.  Cheerleader to dream of unity and a soft place to fall.

Imagine gray hairs and popping veins.  Picking out memories that fearless slumber parties made magic of endless time.  Your patience through road trips to find the independent spirit thought to be loneliness to complete a cycle that your baby eyes could never know.

I can fix this problem that your tiny hands pulled from my chest.  Twilight years joking at needless suffering from stories in the brain.  Entertaining a trajectory of power tucked away in the feathers of a phoenix.

Rest now little one for second sight breaks all barriers and tucks the missing pieces gracefully into drops of diamond and shimmer; hearing your song in the background of these thoughts.

Feeling each arm reached peaceful in everlasting hugs and worth it all.

Grace & Lifelines

All is not lost as the grace and lifelines set me free

Walking a tightrope between sanity and ecstasy

Isolated in observational reverence of manifestations made rich

Gathering the last remnants of old parts fractured by insignificance in the eyes of the devil

Working past flashes of glory and victory made in memory and pastimes

Left rising out of a battered soul carrying the burden of German blood and African drums

Channeling all that is in me to make good on a promise set by a soft voice in yonder

Flashing through karmic distortions feeding on the nectar of the hummingbird and the spit of creation

Leaving a legacy of difference in the intention of forgotten and the wandering of spirit

Mercy on me to be the one who sheds light on all faults in a distant people and inquiring mind

Never ending the story of bruised knees and start over again to see it painted a new color

Walking a narrow thread between sorrow and jubilation.
